Police were called to an incident as Trafford CCTV had witnessed an altercation between two parties occurring on Stamford New Road, Altrincham at approx. 0315 hours on Saturday 30th November 2024. When officers have arrived, one party has been in a taxi and the other on the street. Officers have located two snap bags full of white powder, later testing positive for cocaine, on the pavement next to the rear near side door of the taxi.

Members of the taxi have therefore each been detained under s23 of the Misuse of drugs act and searched. A female inside the taxi has began to act aggressively, shouting and swearing in the street towards officers. Whilst she was being searched, CCTV operator has confirmed that this female dropped her bag, moments before police arrival in the spot where the drugs were located.
She was then arrested on suspicion of class A and drunk and disorderly due to her continuing poor behaviour.
