We are currently investigating a number of Burglaries that have occurred on Ashworth Lane, Eastgrove Avenue and Thorncliffe Road. From the crimes that have come in so far, these burglaries have occurred between 4am and 8am on 29/12/24 and the offender seems to be a lone male offender wearing grey pants, grey and black bubble type coat and a black bob hat.
There were two on Ashworth Lane, whereby the offender has snapped the rear door locking mechanism and gained entry, offender has then gone on to steal car keys and vehicles at one address and was disturbed at the other address.
There was also one on Eastgrove Avenue whereby the offender has gained entry via the rear door, snapping the locking mechanism and stealing items from within the address.
If you have any CCTV then could you please check to see if this possible offender has been captured around these times.
Officers will be out in the area conducting further enquiries. Please remember to ensure that doors and windows remain locked at all times - if you have a house alarm then use it. Remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity immediately to GMP using 999.
Kind regards
