Whitefield Neighbourhood Policing team were out in force again keeping the residents and roads of Whitefield safe from drivers who continue to flout road traffic laws.

The team assisted by GMPs road traffic unit and officers from across district stopped over 50 vehicles on Manchester Road, resulting in 1 driver being arrested for drug driving and drug offences, 15 drivers reported for offences of use of mobile phones, speeding, non compliance of seat belts and 3 vehicles being recovered for no insurance and licence offences. 

If drivers continue to disregard the laws of the road we will continue to take away their cars and licences.
