If it's your current partner

If the person you know or suspect is harassing or stalking you is your current partner, that's domestic abuse. You can report that to us here

If it's happened once

If someone has behaved towards you in a way that's made you feel scared, distressed or threatened and it's happened once it could be antisocial behaviour, hate crime or another offence. Please report it to us here

Reporting stalking or harassment

Stalking or harassment is when someone repeatedly behaves in a way that makes you feel scared, distressed or threatened.

You can report it to us using this service:

  • if the unwanted behaviour has happened two times or more

  • if you're not sure it's stalking or harassment, they can be similar - just tell us what's been happening

  • whether you have 'evidence', like photos, videos or texts or not; anything you have can be useful to us, but you don't need it to report what's happened

  • Report online

Click on the 'Report online' button below and we'll ask you a few questions to make sure we give you the right form to fill in.

Any information you send us in the form is secure, but if you're worried that your phone or laptop has been hacked, consider using a friend's device or a computer in your local library.

You can report for yourself, for someone else or as a witness.

We'll investigate whatever you tell us and we'll let you know what steps we'll take next.

Other ways you can report and reporting anonymously

If you don't want to report online, find out about the other ways you can report, including anonymously.
