Operation Valiant

Dear resident, there is an ongoing threat of pickpockets, and opportunist thieves every time you withdraw cash from ATM cash machines. Whilst you are concentrating on using the keypad, you will probably not particularly notice anyone watching, they may be watching from a distance away. 

Become more aware, before using a cash machine, look around…..is there anyone nearby who looks out of place, are they obviously looking at the cash machine? Even whilst using it….pause and look around again. Once the cash is in your hand, be aware of your surroundings and be vigilant as thieves will follow you knowing they have a target.
