Cannabis farm

Early hours on Sunday 9th February 25 our Neighbourhood officers conducted a warrant on Cawood Square, Brinnington. We had received intelligence stating that there was possibly a cannabis farm at the property.

Cannabis farms are usually linked to other more serious crimes such as people trafficking and forced labour. They are also very dangerous and pose a fire risk due to the wiring used to by-pass electricity and could put people’s lives at risk.
