Vehicle interference

Good afternoon,

We have had an increase in vehicle interferences (attempting to open a vehicle) on the ward.

We would like to remind people to make sure that their vehicles are locked at all times and that you don’t leave any valuables on view.

Most people do not know they are a victim of this type of crime until a neighbour tells them, they check their CCTV or the Police inform them after having other reports.

*Please remember attempting to gain entry is an offence called Vehicle Interference*

If you do become aware that you have been a victim of this type of crime, please report to the Police on either 101 or via an online report.

I have attached some vehicle crime information for your reference.
