Parking reporting Advice.

Report parking issues to police via 101 or GMP Live Chat.

 

Report to Police 

  • Abandoned vehicles (visibly damaged from a crash / rusted / broken windows flat tyres / broken loose ignition)
  • Ongoing parking in a designated parking space without permission (if the matter cannot be resolved by yourself or the freeholder or managing agent first) – Can be considered antisocial behaviour
  • Somebody blocking your driveway if you are fully prevented from getting your own vehicle off the drive.
  • Illegal Parking (On zig zag lines / parked dangerously / In a way that would prevent emergency vehicles from accessing)

    Report to Council

     

  • Vehicle parked over dropped kerb / on a pedestrian crossing / in spaces reserved for blue badge holders / in taxi bays, cycle lanes / Outside schools, bus tram stops
  • Somebody blocking driveway generally 

  • Someone parking on your driveway (This is trespass and a civil matter – Police have no powers to intervene)
