As a result of a large yellow digger’s wrecking spree on Bickershaw Lane and then into Platt Bridge where it demolished a pedestrian crossing on Walthew Lane and clipped the brickwork on the nearby post office before coming to a standstill, one male has been arrested and is currently under investigation for a number of Offences including Dangerous Driving.
