FREE EVENT THIS WEEKEND!  Bury GMP invite you to a Community Fun Day, St Bernadette's School, Whitefield, Sat 7th June 2025, 9am- 4pm.

“FREE EVENT THIS WEEKEND!  

Greater Manchester Police have organised a Community Fun Day at St Bernadette's School in Whitefield on Saturday 7th June 2025 between 9am and 4pm. 

The event is free to attend and there are no tickets required! 

This is an exciting opportunity for the community of Bury to come together and enjoy a fabulous, family day out!

You will see GMP's mascot PC Cub making their way around the event from 10:30am, so make sure you give them a wave! We hope to receive a surprise visit from the Tactical Mounted Unit (police horses) during the day! 

Emergency vehicles from GMP's Traffic Unit, GMP's Tactical Aid Unit, The North West Ambulance Service (Whitefield) and Greater Manchester Fire & Rescue (Ramsbottom) will be static on the school car park. Our partners at FAM Recovery will be nearby to showcase how they work with the police and the important job that they do! 

The school field will be the host to a number of local businesses, partners, charities and organisations such as: 

We have a free prize draw; which is open to the first 1000 people that attend. If you pick out the correct ticket from the draw, you could win an amazing prize!

Glitter & Glow MCR are able to provide face painting on the day for a small fee & Mr Whippy will be there to top of a brilliant day with a refreshing ice cream!

We would kindly ask that you park away from the event to minimise disruption to local residents. Please utilise public transport and other forms of transport; where appropriate.”
