📷 SMILE! YOU’RE ON CAMERA! 📷  - Through funding, we have recently acquired Video Doorbells for several properties in Whitefield. We are the first area in Greater Manchester to trial these methods! The purpose is to provide residents with better access to evidence gathering materials and in turn, we have better evidence during our investigations to target Anti-Social Behaviour and Criminality. Addresses have been selected based on highlighted, problematic locations. We anticipate delivery of the devices this week. We will then organise, distribute, and fit said devices accordingly.

⛳️ Following our work at Pike Fold Golf Course, we have been contacted by members of Whitefield Golf Course to reports of juveniles causing ASB, off-road bikes and a homeless encampment. There were no incidents to report during our patrols but we will continue to patrol this area. 

⚽️ We have visited 5 young people in Unsworth. The group have repeatedly been kicking their ball into the garden of a resident. For medical reasons, the resident became unable to retrieve the ball. This may seem trivial to some, however, no action has been taken for several years. This has led to heightened emotions, mis-communication, frustration and tension between all concerned. The resident has also had their shed and fencing damaged in the process. After being notified of escalation, we quickly intervened to prevent further incident. The young people concerned were extremely polite, respectful and apologetic. Whilst updating the victim on our progress, one young person attended the victim’s address and apologised of his own accord. The young person explained their actions and they even shared a laugh about their teams being rivals! 🔴🔵
