PARTNERSHIP WORKING

This afternoon, working in partnership with Trading Standards, GMP officers conducted visits to several shops in Heywood.  

Two vehicles which are believed to be linked to crime were seized together with illicit cigarettes and tobacco with with a street value of approx. £50,000.

In many cases, illicit cigarettes are linked to other criminal activities and GMP will continue to work with Trading Standards and other partner agencies in tackling crime, making our town safer.
