Greater Manchester Police are urging students and the public to be vigilant following mobile phone thefts across busy public areas.
🎒 Whether you're heading to lectures, commuting, or enjoying the city, here are some simple steps to protect your belongings: 🔒 Keep it close – Avoid using your phone openly in crowded places. Keep it zipped away when not in use.
👀Be aware of your surroundings – Thieves often target distracted individuals. Stay alert, especially near transport hubs and nightlife areas.
🎧Limit headphone use – Listening to music can make you less aware of what's happening around you.
🧥Secure your bags – Use bags that close fully and keep them in front of you when walking or on public transport.
