The festive season is in full swing! With parties, work dos, and nights out, here are some quick tips to keep safe and enjoy yourself: Stay Alert – Be aware of your surroundings and don’t leave drinks unattended.
Street Safety – Look out for our Street Safety Marshals and the Safety Haven in Wigan Town Centre (open Fri & Sat, 10 PM – 4 AM) if you need help.
Ask for Angela – Most pubs and clubs know what this means. If you feel unsafe, discreetly ask staff for help.
Walk Away from Trouble – Tensions can rise; it’s not worth it.
Plan Your Journey – Use licensed, reputable taxis. Never drink or take drugs and drive – even for a short trip.
Dress for the Weather – It’s cold out there!
