Proactive Patrol Leads to Arrest and Recovery of Stolen Goods

Whilst on foot patrol, PCSO's Barrie and Sarah stopped by Boots on Bradshawgate to provide visibility and reassurance to the local community. As officers entered the store, they caught a shoplifter red-handed and successfully recovered approximately £150 worth of stolen stock.

The male offender was promptly arrested at the scene and taken into custody for further investigation.

“This incident highlights the importance of visible policing in our communities. We are committed to keeping local businesses and residents safe,” said Sarah, Police Community Support Officer.

Police continue to encourage members of the public and local businesses to report suspicious activity and work together to prevent crime.
