Parking on double yellow lines

Police have been stationed on Northumberland Road over the past couple of weeks to prevent vehicles parking on the double yellow lines next to the pharmacy on Northumberland Road. Parking here causes significant disruption to the flow of traffic and obstructs the road. There are multiple car parks surrounding this area which should be utilised unless you are a blue badge holder, to which if you are, then you should have your blue badge visible in the window. Cars that are parked on these double yellow lines will be reported for traffic offences and may risk fines or points on their license.
