Police Community Support Officer Patrol – Oxford Road Campus

Today, a Police Community Support Officer carried out a proactive patrol across the Oxford Road Campus alongside the Security Team and Security supervisors, focusing on identified hotspot areas to provide visible reassurance and support ongoing safety initiatives.

During the visit, the Officer met with staff from a range of departments and visited on‑site retail shops, engaging with colleagues to discuss local matters, offer guidance, and encourage prompt contact with the police and the security team should any issues arise.

These regular patrols and engagement activities help strengthen communication, promote early reporting, and support a safe, secure, and welcoming campus environment for staff, students, customers, and visitors.
