Drug dealing arrests in Cheetham

Operation Venture officers have been on patrol in the Cheetham & Crumpsall areas of the CoM North on Sunday evening (25th).

Whilst on patrol, officers have spotted 2 suspicious males, who have made off once they realised they had been seen by police.

Officers have chased and detained the 2 males who were found to be in possession of drugs and cash. They were arrested on suspicion of possession, with intent to supply class A drugs.

A subsequent house search has led to further drugs being found and a further arrest being made.

Drug dealing goes hand in hand with serious violence and GMP are committed to addressing these issues, through Neighbourhood policing teams, and through force teams, such as Operation Venture.
