Successful warrants conducted

This morning a number of warrants were carried out across the Greater Manchester and Merseyside force areas following an extensive investigation into the supply of drugs in the Greater Manchester area, and wider region. A large proportion of addresses were located on the City of Manchester North District.

In excess of 20 warrants were executed, and as a result, there have been at least 21 arrests made a number of weapons seized, and a quantity of controlled drugs.

The arrests were made across City Of Manchester district, Salford, Wigan, and numerous others across Greater Manchester, Merseyside, and South Wales.

Some of the offences that the suspects have been arrested for include Conspiracy to Supply Drugs, Modern Slavery Offences and Possession with intent to supply drugs.

We are aware of the concerns the community raise and this action today shows our commitment to responding to these concerns and showing criminals will be targeted.
