Following an incident in Westhoughton Town Centre on Tuesday (24/02/2026) , response officers from B Relief assisted by Police Dog Zeus 🐾and his handler arrested an aggressive male following reports of a robbery at B&M Bargains on Pavillion Square, Westhoughton.

The Westhoughton Neighbourhood Team completed the investigation yesterday, interviewing the male and seeking a Crown Prosecution Service charging decision. The team have secured charges for the following offences;

He has been remanded in police custody and will appear before the courts this morning
