Parking issue

Myself and PCSO Donna Longhurst have been giving some passing attention to our local primary schools due to parking issues that have been reported to us via the schools and local residents.

🚸 Dangerous Parking Outside Schools – Please Help Keep Our Children Safe 🚗❗

Every day, our school community works hard to keep children safe—but dangerous and inconsiderate parking outside the school gates is putting that safety at risk.

Recently we’ve seen an increase in cars:

These actions may feel quick or convenient, but they create serious hazards for children who are walking, cycling, or scooting to school. Even a brief stop can obstruct visibility and make it harder for pupils to cross safely.

How you can help:

We all share the same priority: making sure every child arrives and leaves school safely. A few small changes from each driver can make a huge difference.
