Shoplifter Arrested and Charged

Yesterday, PC Morris was made aware of a shoplifting incident at the Co‑op on Wigan Road. Following further enquiries, it was confirmed that the same individual had also stolen items from Heron Foods, located across the road.

The male was arrested, charged, and remanded into custody. He is due to appear before the court today.
