“This morning (24/04/2026) , PC Manners‑Jones and PCSOs Joanna and Sally visited Mayfield Primary School to speak with pupils about different types of assaults and the real‑life consequences that such behaviour can have.

The session was arranged following concerns raised by school staff, and it gave officers the opportunity to engage with students, answer questions, and reinforce the importance of keeping one another safe.

Our neighbourhood teams work closely with local schools to provide early education, guidance, and support — helping young people make positive choices both in and out of the classroom”
