Theft of Motor Vehicle Alert & CCTV Request – Ainsworth Lane area of Tonge Fold

Dear Residents;

 We are currently investigating a report of the theft of a 75plate Keeway 125 RKS125 Motor Cycle. 

The vehicle was stolen from the area around Ainsworth Lane, close Jethro Street. The vehicle was parked and unattended when stolen by unknown overnight between 2200hrs 29/04/2026 and 1000hrs 30/04/2026. It is believed the offenders manually pushed the motorcycle away from the offence location. 

If you are receiving this message your registered BeeInTheLoop address is close to the offence location. We are appealing for further information regarding this theft. 

Did you see anything suspicious around the time of the theft? Do you have any dashcam footage or CCTV footage that may capture the offence or anyone behaving suspiciously in the area around this time. Please consider reviewing any footage you may have in the area. In the event you have any information or find any footage that you feel may be of interest to officers get in touch by replying to this message or emailing: 66033@gmp.police.uk with your name, telephone number or email address. We will then contact you to discuss. 

In the event you have CCTV or Dashcam footage please preserve this footage by saving it or downloading it from the device and we will then be able to send you a link to upload the footage to our CCTV Portal. Officers from the Neighbourhood Priority Crime Team, The GMP Bolton North Neighbourhood Policing Team and Forensic Crime Scene Investigators (CSI) are working hard to bring the offenders to justice and will be increasing activity and vigilance in the affected areas.
