Dropping More Than Words: Female Nominal In Northern Quarter Arrested For Spitting Incident In Piccadilly Gardens

Officers from the Town Hall team have been busy this evening with a collaborative arrest / Custody Process made between our Town Hall Street Engagement Team and Northern Quarter / Village officers who have worked to bring one of our well known Northern Quarter anti-social nominals into the cells.

The female who has been built herself quite the reputation in recent weeks has been detained after a spitting incident with staff / businesses in Piccadilly Gardens and handed herself a one way trip into Custody after a physical altercation with officers who happened to be nearby to assist staff after our suspect attempted to flee the area, however swift action from PC Donlan 15410.

The Northern Quarter team this week has built a list of top prolific offenders linked to ASB and are happy that another offender is crossed of the list with applications made for a criminal behaviour order made by both PC Barnwell 07808 and PC Hunt 09091 with PC Read 06598 obtaining primary investigations from nearby premises.

Our aim this evening is to utilise our partnership with the Manchester City Council ASBAT team to push for repeat offenders to be remanded of the back of police evidence and collaborating to push for civil orders to be put in place against these groups all whist encouraging a change in lifestyle through housing / drug rehabilitation schemes.
