Abram Neighbourhood Policing Team

Officers from the Abram Neighbourhood Team have been out on routine patrol, providing reassurance to the community and addressing reports of youths involved in antisocial behaviour.

While patrolling Low Hall car park, officers came across a male sitting in a vehicle where there was a strong smell of cannabis coming from inside. Officers approached the vehicle to speak with him, and he openly admitted to smoking cannabis and being in possession of a significant quantity.

The male was subsequently arrested at the scene for the offence. The cannabis was seized and will be destroyed.

We will continue to proactively patrol the area and take action against any criminal activity to ensure the nature reserve remains a safe and enjoyable place for families and the wider community.
