Officers patrolling Cheapside Bus Station

Good afternoon,

Following a recent spike in reported incidents of anti social behaviour from Cheapside Bus Station in relation to youths riding E-Scooters through the terminus and around the bus station, officers will be in the area to educate / enforce where necessary.

E-Scooters are not permitted within the bus station and can be seized under Sec165 Road traffic act (no insurance) and Sec 59 Police reform act (anti social / careless riding).

E-Scooters can only be legally ridden on PRIVATE property.
