Residential Burglary Increase

There has been an increase in reports in this locality for residential burglaries in this area. This message is for information only not to alarm residents however please be mindful during this time of year to keep doors/windows closed and not to leave keys in easy line of sight for any criminals. The general suspicion is that criminals are using the canal towpath to target estates along Manchester Rd, Castleton so please remain vigilant and report any suspicious person(s) seen in the area.
