Help Us Keep Our Community Safe - community watch & reporting |
||
|
With the darker nights drawing in, and with Bonfire Night and the festive season approaching, your local police officers will be out and about on both uniformed and plain-clothes patrols. You can play a vital role too by looking out for your neighbours and reporting anything that doesn't seem right.
Neighbourhood Watch offers a simple step-by-step guide to setting up a scheme for your street or community: www.ourwatch.org.uk
If you see someone on a neighbour's property, in their garden and you don't recognise them, especially late at night, please don't ignore it. If you believe something is suspicious, call 999.
We'll attend, establish who they are and what they're doing there, and, where appropriate, carry out searches for items that could be used to commit crime.
Working together, we can deter criminals, protect our neighbourhoods, and keep our communities safe. | ||
