KNOCK AND DOOR RUN!

KNOCK AND DOOR RUN!

We're aware of an increase in reports of children engaging in "knock and run" behaviour across the local area. While often seen as harmless fun, these incidents can cause distress to residents, particularly older or vulnerable members of our community.

Unfortunately, we have received reports that some incidents are escalating beyond door knocking and are beginning to involve anti-social behaviour and some damage. We are working with local schools, parents and partner agencies to address these concerns and prevent matters from escalating further.

We would ask parents and guardians to speak with their children about the impact this behaviour can have on others and to encourage them to be respectful of their neighbours and local community.

If you witness anti-social behaviour or have concerns about ongoing issues in your area, please report them to us via GMP LiveChat, 101, or 999 in an emergency.

Together, we can help keep our neighbourhoods safe and enjoyable for everyone.
