Update - Wardleworth Area

Officers have continued targeted patrols and proactive policing activity in and around the South Street, West Street and Ball Street areas.

Over recent days, a number of individuals have been stopped and searched, issued words of advice, and warned regarding suspected drug use, anti social behaviour and loitering. We have also acted on community information and local intelligence to identify and target several vehicles of interest, with further enquiries and enforcement action being taken where appropriate.

This work forms part of our ongoing commitment to deter criminality, disrupt those causing harm in our neighbourhoods, and take positive action against offenders. High visibility patrols and targeted operations will continue, and we would like to thank residents for the information they provide, which helps us keep our communities safe.

If you see suspicious activity, please continue to report it. Your information makes a difference.
